Human-wildlife Conflict (HWC) is a serious obstacle to wildlife conservation worldwide and is becoming more prevalent as human populations increase, development expands, the global climate changes and other human and environmental factors put people and wildlife in greater direct competition for a shrinking resource base. Human encroachment into previously wild areas will inevitably result in human-wildlife conflicts. Discuss this view point. (25 marks)

Although the dynamics and drivers of human wildlife conflict can be very different wherever it occurs, there are themes in the studies that can be used to compose a ?Common Ground? or a basic list of solutions available. Discuss the strategies for managing the human-wildlife conflict. (25 marks)
