4. A salesman gets a commission of 2.4 % on sales up to sh. 100 000. He gets an additional commission of 1.5 % on sales above this. Calculate the commission he gets on sales worth sh. 280 000. (3mks)
5. A cylindrical can of diameter 20cm and height 60 cm is filled with water using a cylindrical jar of diameter 12 cm and height 8 cm. how many jar full will fill the can? (4mks)
6. Find the volume of a solid whose cross-section is a right angle triangle of base 4 cm, height 5cm and length 12 cm.
7. A circular pond of diameter 7m is surrounded by a path 2.8 wide. Find the area of the path. (3mks)
8. The area of a sector of a circle radius 63 cm is 4158 cm2. Calculate the angle subtended at the centre of the circle. (3mks)
9. A cylindrical column of fat has diameter 17.5 cm and height 10cm. calculate the density of fat if the column has a mass of 2kg. (3mks)
