1. If you were one of the judges to select the best motion picture of the past year, for what film would you vote? In a brief report state your choice and give reasons.

2. Have you eagerly awaited the filming of one of your favorite books and them been bitterly disappointed in the motion picture? Or perhaps you've had the opposite experience-that is, thought the movie better than the book. In a brief report of two or three paragraphs compare a book you have enjoyed with the movie based on it.

3. Choose a country in which you are particularly interested and prepare a report on its history, famous men, literature, art, or customs.

4. Choose an animal or bird and prepare a report on its habits. If possible, secure your material by observation.
