of the mothers role in child rearing. Current issues in parenting seem to be shifting the
focus as the advocacy for both maternal and paternal involvement indicate. For the
best results in child rearing co-parenting is the ultimate advice.”

“Wanjala turns forty-five this year but he could easily be mistaken for fifty-five.
His fifteen years of marriage have been characterized by conflict which has
culminated in divorce. Wanjala’s drinking habits have grossly interfered with his
working life and he is at the blink of losing his job.”
