1. Explain the meaning of any five of the following terms:
a) Regeneration (2 marks)
b) Sin (2 marks)
c) Reconciliation (2 marks)
d) Justification (2 marks)
e) Election (2 marks)
f) Adoption (2 marks)

2. The doctrine of God is one of the important doctrines of the Christian faith.
a. The attributes of God are classified as communicable and incommunicable
attributes.
i. Differentiate the meaning of between the two giving examples (4 marks)
ii. Discuss any three communicable and any three incommunicable attributes
of God. (12 marks)
b. A cultic friend has approached you questioning the doctrine of trinity. Provide at
least four facts to defend the doctrine of the trinity. (4 marks)

3. Biblical anthropology deals with what the bible teaches concerning man and his destiny.
a) Discuss three reasons to show why God created man. (6 marks)
b) Provide four facts to show that man was unique of all God’s creation (4 marks)
c) Compare and contrast the state of man before and after the fall (8 marks)
d) What is the danger of denying that god created man? (2 marks)

4. The bible is challenged by those who seek to discredit other Christian doctrines.
a) The process of canonicity helped us get our Bible.
i. What is the meaning of the word “canon”? (2 marks)
ii. What factors were considered in determining the canonicity of New
Testament books (4 marks)
iii. Identify any four Old Testament books and any four New Testament
books that were contested in the process of canonicity. Give reasons why
each of the books were contested. (8 marks)
b) Discuss any three characteristics of scripture. (6 marks)

5. Many cults will have a problem with the doctrine of Christ.
a) You have been met by a fellow form a cult who denies the deity of Jesus Christ.
Discuss at least four reasons to him to prove that Jesus is God. (8marks)
b) Your neighbor approaches you denying that Jesus actually resurrected bodily
from the grave.
i. Adduce the four reasons apostle Paul gives in 1 Corinthians 15 to prove
that Jesus actually resurrected bodily from the grave. (4marks)
ii. Discuss the significance of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. (8 marks)
