Answer THREE Questions at Least One from Each Section.

Section I
1.
Discuss the role of the Arabs and the Persians in the establishment of early Islam
in East Africa.
2.
?In East Africa the hospitality and adaptability of African Culture and religion
enabled Africans to embrace Islam flexibly in their own traditional ways?. With a
clearly illustrated diagram, discuss the religio-cultural expressions of Swahili
Islam.
