Briefly describe, citing one relevant example for each, three interaction strategies that you can use to enhance young children’s oral language skills. (6marks)

Briefly describe citing one relevant example for each, only three elements of speech. (6marks)

Briefly describe children’s language development form birth to the age of two years. (6marks)

4.
“Young children should be encouraged to retell a story rather than tell a story of their creation”. Briefly discuss this statement citing three reasons for this fact. (6marks)

5.
Briefly describe the things you would consider when developing a tongue-twister for five-year-olds and give one example of a suitable tongue twister for such children. (6marks)

Describe the speech characteristics of Musa and Lisa. (6marks)

Discuss the possible causes of these speech fluency disorders. (4marks)

How can a teacher or caregiver support these children to cope among the other children with normal speech? (10marks)
