Q1. Most societies in the world prefer to use law as a regulatory mechanism compared
to other means. Do you agree with this statement. Discuss your opinion.

Q2. The Rule of Law operates to bring about stability in the state and in the day-today
lives of citizens. Discuss. [20 marks]

Q3. Distinguish the State and Non-State Arenas comprehensively. In which arena do
you think citizens in Kenya are likely to obtain justice and why? [20 marks]

Q4. Law is imbued with myth. Discuss this statement and explain the role played by
myth in the Kenyan legal system if at all. [20 marks]

Q5. Distinguish between Government and Governance, following which explain the
relevance of Governance as a model for managing affairs in the State of Kenya.
