a) The term marketing is surrounded by confusion and therefore different people understand marketing differently. Briefly define marketing using a relevant example. (3 marks)
b) A marketing effort is successful if certain steps are observed concerning the marketing process. Sequentially, outline and explain upstream and downstream activities as related to the consumer wants and needs. (15 marks)
