Answer ALL Questions.
1. “Unlike Christianity or other religions, Islam is an attractive religion. ” Identify and
discuss five propagandas used by Moslems to discredit other religions.
[10 m arks]
2. Equity Bank plans to sell its shares to the public through Nairobi Stock Exchange
(NSE). Explain how a Muslim investor will go about to determine whether buying
these shares is haraam or halaal. [10 marks]
3. When Kenya was engulfed in post election violence, Moslems put out the following
advertisement. “The only condition to bring peace and prosperity to Kenya is that we
have to apply, understand and implement the great fundamental Islamic principals,
values and ethics of Islam. Islam is a religion of peace,..tolerance…brotherhood. (The
Standard Feb 28,2008)” Critic the advertisement . [10 marks]
4. You are requested to represent Kabarak University at Bomas of Kenya. The sitting
committee is collecting views from Kenyans, on whether to introduce the Sharia Law in
Kenya or not. Argue your position on the matter. [10 marks]
5. “Christ, the son of Mary, Was no more than A messenger;…” Surah 5:75 Evaluate
the statement in view of the Christ in Quran. [10 marks]
