Question One
Explain the reason why the conventions of writing for newspapers and TV are unsuited to writing for radio. What limitations/advantages does the radio writer have. Over the TV and newspaper writer. (30 Marks)

Question Two
Write a short news story about a serious explosion inside a busy super market, giving the images to capture the mood, anxiety and shock of the nation. Your story should last no more than 120 words. (20 Marks)

Question Three
Dr. Kildare, a daring surgeon his been arrested for assisting two school girls to have criminal abortions. He has been released on bond by the high court and has consented to an interview to clear his name. Write down the interview questions you would ask him. The questions should not be more than 10 and not less than 8. (20 Marks)

Question Four
You have been detailed to cover this year’s International Agricultural show’s new technology section. One young man has invented a contraption that polishes a pair of shoes in FIVE minutes. Write up the piece that would promote the young inventor in not more than 100 words. (20 Marks)

Question Five
A new entrant into the water market is accused of selling untreated water. How would you investigate the story to know whether his competitors are shutting him out of the market by maligning his product? Write the interview questions you would ask him/her. (20 Marks)
