In modern marketing, “the customer is king”. The banking industry has been made to realize this in the recent past. A marketer has to analyze the needs and wants of the customers before trying to serve them. He has to know who his customers are and where they are.

(a) Suggest one method of communication that is being used by the banks to reach their customers and suggest reasons why it is very popular today. (10 marks)

(b) Discuss the other ways organizations use to communicate with the target market. (10 marks)

(c) A marketing concept is a philosophy that can be used by a marketer to perform his marketing activities. What are the various concepts a marketer can choose from.
