Read the following case study and answer the questions that follow.
Steve Mwema, a consulting partner at Peak Consulting Company, has been invited by the General Manager of the International Beach Hotel, who is his friend, to tender for a project. The hotel directors want to carry out an evaluation into their operational costs since the financial reports indicated a high increase on the same. They intend to work out a plan on reducing the operational costs during the low seasons. The other competitors in the hospitality industry were able to adjust their costs especially on meals and accommodation.
The following day, Mr. Mwema delivered his application. After the vigorous selection, Peak Consulting Company was awarded the contract and presented the consulting plan the following week.
