(b) Later the cost of material was doubled, labour cost increased by 30% and transport costs
increased by 20%. Calculate the cost of manufacturing the article later. (4mks)

(c) A year later, the cost of manufacturing the article was Sh.1981 as a result of increase in labour
costs. Find the percentage increase in labour costs on the original article (3mks)
