a) Clearly distinguish between the following concepts as used in research
i) Qualitative research and quantitative research
ii) Continuous variable and discrete variable
iii) Research methods and research methodology
iv) Primary data and secondary data
v) Correlation analysis and regression analysis

b) The research process consists of a series of actions and steps. Describe the steps
clearly explaining the importance of each for effective research (20 marks)

a) Explain the meaning of an economic model (2 marks)
b) Briefly explain the considerations in the construction of models used in research
