(b) Explain the role of logic in philosophy and the two ways in which it proceeds.

3. Outline the seven reasons that Crito uses to convince Socrates to escape from prison. Should Socrates escape or not. Give reasons. [10 Marks]

4. Discuss the myth of the cave featuring the following

(i) The cave situation
(ii) The upward movement
(iii) The downward movement
(iv) According to you what lessons can be drawn from the Myth of the Cave?

5. Discuss any one argument on divine existence. In the world of science and technology we are in, is this argument valid? Explain. [20 Marks]

6. Present on analysis of four arguments socrates uses to defend himself against the charge of corrupting the youth. In your view are these argument valid today? Give reasons.
