2.A mass of 10 kg is suspected by two strings of lengths 3m and 4m from two points at the same level 5m apart.Find the tensions in the strings.

3.A mass of 30kg hangs vertically at the end of a light string.If the mass is pulled aside by a horizontal force P so that the string makes an angle of 30 with the vertical,find the magnitude of force P and the tension in the string.
