Question one.(30mks)
a) You don''t lead by pointing and telling people some to go, you lead by going to that place and making a case, it entails team work which makes the vision work objectives achievable, discuss managers roles, levels and skills depicted in organization.(10 mks)

b) A business leader has to keep their organization focused on the mission the sounds easy but it can be tremendously challenging in today''s competitive and ever changing business environment for no matter how hard we work to create a stable organization, we experience dramatic changes far beyond our control. Discuss the macro environment of organization.(10mks)
c) You can delegate authority but one can never delegate responsibility, for delegation a task to someone if you picked the right one- five but if you choose the wrong person. The responsibility lies on you as the delegators. Explain the barriers to effective delegation and how effective delegation can be achieved. (10mks).

Question two (20mks)
a) Give a person a job, you help them pay the bills, teach them how to find and purse a career and you provide them with sutainane for a lifetime, thus staffing in every organization is essential as it provides that platform. Discuss the staffing steps/ process.(10mks).
b) Henry Fayol was a management guru who developed a number of principles that govern management to day ; principles that have led to the success in the management world. Discuss the fourteen principles of management as developed by by Henry. (10 mks).

Question Three (20 mks)
a) Planning entails bringing the future into the present so that toy can do something about it, it is the process of choosing amongst those many options, if we don''t choose to plan, then we choose to have other plan for us, discuss the importance of planning and the importance of planning and the steps involved in the planning process (15mks)
b) For effective coordination among tasks in the organization there ought to be an organization structure, identify the importance of organization structure (5mks).

Question Four.(20 mks)
a) Good management is the art of making problems so interesting and their solutions so constructive that everyone wants to get to work and deal with them, thus a good manager seeks to achieve the goals through other people through effective and effecient control systems, identity the features of adequate control systems and the steps involved in the control process. (12 mks)
b) A leader is best when people barely know that he exists, when his work is done, his is fulfilled, they will say, we did it. Ourselves, if your action inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more - then that is true leadership - with reference to this discuss styles of leadership.(8mks).
