1. Project management consists of various phases. As a Health Project Manager
identify and discuss using examples, activities that will carry out in each of
the key phases of project management. [50marks]

2. Identify your eight broad project management functions and discuss the
usefulness of performing these functions as a project manager. [30marks]

3. One of your major responsibilities as a project manager is project evaluation.
Discuss the utility of undertaking health project monitoring and evaluation. [30marks]

4. The main outcome of the project formulation team’s activity is the production
of the project proposal document. Using examples, illustrate activities that
take place in the five stages of project proposal formulation. [30marks]

5. Team building is considered by many management practitioners as one of the
most critical leadership qualities that determines the performance and success
of multi-disciplinary efforts like projects.
