(b) Assume you are writing a research report and some of the reference materials you have used include;
(i) A book with two authors.
(ii) A revised edition of a book.
(iii) Internet sources.
provide appropriate bibliographic citations for each of these work. (6mks).

(c) Identify research topic in your field of specialisation and do the following:
(i) State your research topic. (2mks)
(ii) Write a one paragraph problem statement. (3mks).
(iii) state any three objectives of the study. (3mks).
(iv) You decide to use an open ended questionnaire as a tool of data collection. State any three merits and three demerits of using this method. (6mks)

(v) Explain the importance of the following components of a research report: (6mks)
(i) Background to the study.
(ii) Limitations of the study.
(iii) Appendices.

2. Audience analysis is an important element in any research. With reference to the various types of audiences ,discuss the truth of this statement. (20mks).

3. Interpretation and analysis of findings enables a researcher to expose the relations and processes that underlie the findings of a given study. Discuss the validity of this statement. (20mks).
