(c ). Explore the essence of theory in production and consumption of literature.(10marks)
2. With appropriate examples critically analyze the relationship among the artist, art and
society in the study of Literature. (20 marks)
3. Basing your answer on any play you have studied show the contribution of the dramatic
mode to the understanding of social issues. (20 marks)
4. Deriving your answer from some of the poems you have studied show how style makes
poetry didactic and enjoyable. (20 marks)
5. Discuss the difference between a short story and poetry in terms of their contribution to the understanding of form and content. (20 marks)

6.Critically examine gender relations in society as reflected in the works you have studied

in this course. (20 marks)
