1. Explain the growth and nutritional requirements of bacteria.[4marks]

2. Outline the Baltimore classification system of viruses.[4marks]

3.Define sterilization and explain the operation of an autoclave specifying the optimum conditions involved. [4marks]

4.Explain the classification of mycoses. [4marks]

5. List the kind of micro-organisms which live in soil and specify the characteristics of each.[4marks]
