the Roman Empire. (10 marks)

7. Critique from a biblical perspective the following missionary strategies employed
during 3rd century A.D.
(a) Military measures adopted by Bishop Martin of Tours to ensure immediate results in
Evangelism. (2 marks)
(b) Bishop Gregory Thaumaturgus allowing the Christians to substitute Christian festivals
for Pagari feasts. (3 marks)
(c) Mass movement (Conversion) lead by the Great missionary Gregory the illuminator
which was sparked King Tiridates. (3 marks)
(d) Using family ties, marriages and loyalties to heads of households as a means of recruiting
members of the church. (2 marks)
