We can conserve energy in the transport sectors through:
1.Encouraging public transport by improving the status of buses that can compete with private sectors.
2.Improving the conditions of roads to ensure smooth road services because when the roads are bad vehicles consume alot of oil.
3.Constructing railways for heavy goods to reduce use of tracks.
4.Increasing import taxes on inefficient or high oil consuming private vehicles so as to reduce their purchases.
5.Maintenance of vehicles to ensure they are in a good condition e.g through checking tyres or monthly vehicles inspections.
