3. Critically assess the productivity of cultural criticism when it comes to the study of literature by African women. Give elaborate illustrations form any two creative works by African female authors. [20 Marks]

4. Clearly outline the concerns of ‘feminist critique’ and application in literature. Give elaborate illustrations from any TWO novels read for this course. [20 Marks]

5. According to Kate Millet, patriarchy shows how male-dominated structures and social arrangements oppress women. With reference to any TWO texts read for this course, show the truthfulness of this observation. [20 Marks]
