1. Courts of law are established to interpret the statues and also to settle disputes between litigants. Such courts also offer certain benefits to the society as a whole. In view of this statement describe any six benefits that the court offers to the society. (20 marks)

2. The idea of insurance came about due to risk of loss. However, for a contract of insurance to be valid it must comply with the fundamental principles of general insurance. Explain any six such general principles of insurance. (12 marks)
