SECTION A

1. (a) Distinguish the meaning of the following basic sociological concepts:

(i) Primary socialization and secondary socialization. [5 marks]
(ii) Resocialization and anticipatory socialization. [5 marks]

(b) With the use of examples show how the peer groups as a major agent of socialization influences the life of the learner up to the secondary school
level. [20 marks]

students and propose ways which can be used to remedy the deviant

(b) Discuss the functions of education and show how it transmits the values of
